Currently there are politicians and judges who think the 2d Amendment still does not apply to individual rights. Appointment to the Supreme Court is Judge Sontomayor. This ad exposes her true beliefs about your right to keep and bare arms.

60 Second Radio Ad
By now most people know that bad people will get guns no matter what. In countries with total gun bans like Britain, criminals and terrorists still get guns and the citizens are defenseless. Thank God for the U S Constitution, which says that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Note: that is a natural right – the right of self-defense, and in America it cannot be taken away. But, it can be taken away by politicians who ignore the Constitution and by judges who cannot understand plain English, such as Sonya Sotomayor, who has just been appointed to the Supreme Court. Judge Sotomayor says that the Second Amendment does not apply to the States or municipalities. This is truly amazing, especially since the most liberal court in the land, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, just wrote that the Second Amendment’s right to keep and bear arms cannot be taken away by States or municipalities. We certainly hope that Judge Sotomayor will study the Constitution carefully before she is confirmed.
